Lithium Storage now offers a standard-sized fire-resistant cabinet.
External dimensions of the cabinet:
- L x W x H = 1000 x 550 x 1850 mm (excluding base)
- Aluminium base = 100 mm height
- Additional structure – control unit installed on top of the cabinet
Internal dimensions of the cabinet:
- L x W x H = 964 x 514 x 1814 mm
Mesh rack
The cabinet is divided into five compartments by four hot-dip galvanised racks each with carrying capacity of 70 kg.
The mesh structure allows the FirePro® aerosol extinguisher to flow effectively and at the same time enables heat generated by the LIBs to dissipate efficiently
Power strips
A power strip with eight sockets is installed at each level on the back wall, designed for charging LIBs with a maximum current of 16 A.
The bottom compartment does not have a power strip.
Doors
The doors open fully, providing easy access to the cabinet. The doors are fitted with a self-closing mechanism and are sealed with not only a temperature-sensitive swelling strip but also a fire-protective sealing strip.
Supporting legs
In the case of smoke or fire, the cabinet must be moved to a safe location. The supporting legs make it easy to transport the cabinet with a manual pallet truck.
Functional description
The cabinet is fitted with a smart control system and has functions designed specifically for its application – i.e., storing and loading LIBs.
The cabinet’s functions are divided into different areas. Each of these areas is constantly monitored by the FP controller, with status reports and alerts in the control panel above the cabinet.
